Nuclear is the cleanest and safest source of energy in human history. Some people might not agree but the facts support this statement. Whether we are looking at carbon emissions, air pollution, land footprint, the amount of waste generated or the number of related fatalities—nuclear comes out as the best method of energy production.
Our clean energy future will require a massive transition away from fossil fuel combustion to clean and reliable sources of energy such as electricity from nuclear generating stations. Electrification offers numerous benefits and opportunities. It’s cleaner and quieter and supports quality local employment. Local electricity distribution companies, often owned by municipalities or crown corporations, will become our principal energy suppliers
