About This Organization
This nuclear research facility, formerly operated by AECL since 1963, is located near Pinawa, Manitoba about two hours north of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada by car. Activities at Whiteshell are being phased out and the facility will be decommissioned, a process expected to take up to two decades or longer.
