Carbon emissions from the world’s use of fossil fuels are a threat to our planet. To reduce those carbon emissions we need to reflect on the way we produce and use energy and take immediate actions. We can and should reduce our energy use and improve energy efficiency, but we also need to acknowledge that our way of life will continue to demand an abundant supply of energy, especially reliable baseload electricity.
